We have Closet Dancers at Bellview

If you haven't seen these yet, make sure you take a peek at these videos. Max is in fine form. Do I see a new TV show in the future? Dancing with the Teachers??

What a great way to alleviate stress. Perhaps the dancers could teach a wellness class after school?

The Most Dangerous Cake in the World

Thanks Joleen for this recipe. Why would I post a recipe here? Helooooo! It's the Bellview Blog!!!
5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug
Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous). And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Reviews: "Monica and I made 2 mugs tonight and the family loved it!! And it was so easy!! We put whip cream on the top :-) Yum Yum!" Candace Palmesano

Hello Bloggers!
An update on out fellow family member, Ingird, is all good. She is at home and resting and in good spirits.  She did mention how nice it would be to have a few meals to reheat.  I do not want her to be inundated with meals and her throat is very sore.  If you want an easy to swallow meal would be graciously accepted!

Max Has Me Gun Shy!

As administrator of the blog, I check in every few days, just to see if anyone else has joined up since my last check. (Most of the time it's just the same. Nothing's changed.) But a few evenings ago, I noticed that we had a new member that I was not familiar with and hadn't invited. I checked out his 'profile'. It was more extensive than mine but the new blogger talked about how he was a 4th grader at Bellvew and nine years old. It didn't mention his name, just a screen name.

A nine year old is certainly not the plan for this blog. So my first thought was to drop him immediately. Then....I had a little niggle in the back of my brain. What if it was Max yanking my chain. I thought that it would be something Max would do! Then I waffled. But what if it really was a kid? We wouldn't want them in on the inner thoughts of the Bellview Staff.

Luckily the child's post listed other blogs he had made. When I went to them, there was the typical misspellings of a 4th grader, and then I was convinced that even Max wouldn't go to that extent to pull off a joke. (One of the blogs was for skatebording aparel){Misspelling the same way as seen in the blog} It's a little concerning that even when Max isn't pulling one over on me he still gets me going!

This is the original post for the Bellview Blog. The idea was this blog might be a way we can keep in touch without using the email system for the district. This way we can enjoy Max's naughty little posts without concern for censure. Once we get set up and those who want have joined, I will make the blog so that it is only viewable by authors of the blog. Therefore we won't have to be quite so careful and it will be more private. However, if you are relating an incident, or telling a story, be careful of using names. Please be aware of people's privacy. So, with that said, Let's have some fun and connect. Renee
